EUMENIA National Event – Yaşar University

Today, March 15, the National Event ‘Europe, EU and Middle East Education at Universities in Turkey’ was hosted by Yaşar University in the framework of EUMENIA-Jean Monnet Network.

The event targeted academics, NGO representatives and students interested in the subject.

EUMENIA Project institutional Coordinator Prof. Emre İŞERİ, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Aylin GÜNEY and Jean Monnet Chair Assoc. Prof. Gökay ÖZERİM shared research output of their co-authored study on the European Union and Middle East courses in the international relations curriculum in Turkey. Head of International Relations Department Assoc. Prof. Defne GÜNAY also elaborated on her fourth-year undergrad course titled ‘The EU’S foreign policy toward the Middle East and North Africa’.
