Conference on Humanitarian Actions in Mediterranean Digital Societies

Very interesting Conference on Humanitarian Actions in Mediterranean Digital Societies, hosted by the Politecnico di Torino online on June 3.

‘The Mediterranean region has for several years now been at the crossroads of migration flows and often at the centre of humanitarian crises. To deal with these phenomena, Mediterranean societies have increasingly relied on digital technologies, including AI.

With this conference, the Jean Monnet Chair in Mediterranean Digital Societies and Law aims to stimulate an interdisciplinary discussion on these phenomena through the lens of legal, social science and applied technology scholars, considering the issues that migration and humanitarian crises pose for human rights in the context of digital societies.’
